I fly for Pie - Chilliwak Airport Review

by Ivy Haisell in Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Food Tourism

Turns out Chilliwack is notorious for more than just sweet summer corn. In their tiny airport, lies a some coffee shop with affordably priced diner food and spectacular pie. Pies can be purchased by the slice but you can smuggle an entire pie too for between $22-$25.  Their motto, I fly for pie is well earned. People from all over the Pacific Northwest just to pick up a slice of pie. Altogether they offer 60 types of pie.

Among the crush of senior citizen patrons, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and finished it off two slices of pie at the Chilliwack Airport Coffee Shop. John had chocolate banana and I had German Apple a la mode. What's your favourite type of pie?
