Budin Review

by Ivy Haisell in Food Tourism, New York

I was sent on a pilgrimage to Brooklyn in search of nordic style coffee. Most importantly I would assuage the husband I left behind in Vancouver if I could return with a bag of Tim Wendelboe Coffee. We wandered into hipster haven and spacious coffee shop, Budin.

Budin is a coffee shop, beer bar, and design experience in New York with Nordic inspired designer goods, chocolate, clothes and bikes.

While I didn't get my bag of Tim Wendelboe coffee on either of my visits to the shop (the shipment was held up at customs) the staff tried to move heaven and earth to make it happen before I flew back to Canada. I had the best flat white I've ever had in my life before moving on to hunt for fried chicken and waffles.

This was one of my most memorable coffee experiences and I recommend this coffee shop without hesitation if you appreciate a beautifully brewed cup.
