There's an adorable little bakery in Crosstown that is a feast for the eyes as much as it is for the stomach. Everything is beautifully baked as if you were a dear family member coming for a visit. A few of my go to's include the old favourites such as Apple Cinnamon Brioche and Carrot Cake but there's room for interesting innovation including the Hummingbird cake (no hummingbirds in the cake) and the salted caramel bars. The prices are so reasonable you'll want to buy a little of everything to take home.

The only downside to this place is being forced to chose. I highly recommend this as a place to catch up with a friend, bring your mom for a homey and unpretentious snack, or to grab treats to enjoy with a cup of tea and a book at home.
