Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Spears Recipe

This easy dish is quick and easy to make. Also very easy to get a good portion of bundles into your veggie hating man... Bacon helps anything go down a little easier.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Grab the bundle of asparagus and cut off the dry ends.

Nuke 3 strips of bacon flat in the microwave for 1 minute to soften.

Wrap the bacon around asparagus spears securing it with a toothpick. I did 8 asparagus spears but it doesn't really matter. Make as many of these as you need. Usually one is good enough for each person.

Place on a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Brush entire bundle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. 

Bake for 12 minutes or until asparagus is tender and bacon is crisp.
