We stumbled upon a bakery/restaurant in Portland called Petite Provence. The place was packed when we arrived with a casual crowd of small groups. The pastries looked delicious so we took a leap of faith and hoped that the food would be decent. And boy were we right. I ordered a Crab Cake Benny and John had the Banana Pecan French Toast. The food came quickly, the staff polite and efficient.
As we were waiting, I was presented with a buttery croissant and preserves to enjoy. Great place.
